Peggie and Paul Shevlin - Founders


 After being faced with addiction in their own family, Peggie and Paul Shevlin are grateful that they now have loved ones in long-term recovery. Knowing firsthand the devastation that addiction can cause families, Peggie and Paul wanted to help other loved ones in similar situations and show them that people can and do recover from addiction. In doing this, Peggie and Paul are committed to providing an outlet that allows loved ones and the general public to learn more about Recovery. 

Christine Shevlin Rizzo- Executive Director, Chairman of the Board


 Christine is a mother, educator and public speaker.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from St. Bonaventure University and Master’s degree from St. Charles Seminary. Christine worked in the financial sector as a sales professional and compliance officer before establishing her own private consulting firm.  Her professional experience includes domestic and international event planning, and a short stint in  non-profit institutional advancement.  She has served as a high school teacher in the Philadelphia area where she resides.  Christine is most proud to be the mom of three young adults and she enjoys traveling with and cooking for her large, extended family!  

Ryan Shevlin


Ryan is an office professional and is actively engaged in long term recovery. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business & Economics from Lehigh University. Ryan worked for Eaton Aerospace as a contracts administrator and sales engineer for close to a decade. He then began to work for a long term recovery program, beginning in admissions and eventually managing the personal finances of all the clients. Ryan resides in New Haven, CT and is currently the Operations Manager of a Stamford, CT Insulation distribution company. 

Guy Matthews


Guy F. Matthews, Esq. joined the Media Pennsylvania Law firm of Eckell, Sparks in 1989.  He received his Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Business Administration from Widener University.  He earned his Law Degree in 1979 from Temple University School of Law and a LLM in Taxation from Villanova University.  Additionally, he has received the CLU and Chartered Financial Consultant designation from the American College. Guy's practice concentrates in the representation and counseling of individual and corporate clients in business, estate, and financial planning matters. 

Patrick Hochstuhl


Patrick Hochstuhl is an IT professional with extensive experience working on highly productive and technical teams in high risk, fast-paced environments. He has a passion for all things tech and lives for the moments when he sees technology enhance everyday life. He enjoys spending time reading about, educating himself on, and experimenting with the latest in consumer and enterprise technologies. After graduating high school in 2010, Patrick attended Drexel University for 3 years before transitioning to full-time employment with a financial trading firm. In October 2016, he starting working for an industry leading telecommunications company in Center City, Philadelphia. His other interests include live audio production, technical theater, and music. In his spare time you might find him studying maps and atlases from ranging time periods, and hiking nature trails.
